A modern era in which one's craving for individuality, independence, uniqueness and self-reliance has risen up dramatically. Through the paradox of individuality, an unusual hybrid style and mentality are created.
This collection was inspired by WGSN Fall-Winter 2017 "Infusion" trend, which explores the emergent interdependence between human and technology, and the resulting convergence between the real and the virtual as well as the past and the present.
This urban wear coordinates for Fall 2017 would be sold at high-end department stores specializing in luxury brands like Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew and Ogilvy. My collection is comparable to the ones of high-end fashion brands like Donna Karan New York, Chloé and Marni.
My target market is a professional woman aged between 30 to 45 years old who has a University degree and is actually building a strong career. Since she has a strong and growing employment position, her disposable income for fashion keeps on increasing while her salary ranges between $100,000 to $250,000 a year. She mainly lives in the suburban areas of big cities like Montreal, Toronto, Chicago and New York. She enjoys shopping in-stores on a monthly basis, is a rational buyer and mainly buys urban wear attire that is suitable for work and evening events. Just like Diana Ross, Farrah Fawcett and Cher were during the 1970's, my clientele is a confident trendsetter and a charming socialite who is career oriented.
