The #MadeInLCI talent shines at the Final Project Exhibition 2024
The exhibition, designed by faculty member Ana García, was hosted on the 6th floor of our new campus and included final projects from all the disciplines we offer.
On Saturday, August 17th, a team of staff and students from LaSalle College Vancouver had the honor of joining CityReach Care Society for their Back to School Blast event in East Vancouver, where 1,000 backpacks were provided to local children and youth, helping to alleviate the stress many families face as they prepare for the new school year.
Hundreds of families joined the fun-filled community event which featured a variety of family-friendly activities, including free barbecue, treats, bouncy castles, face painting, arts and crafts, and special appearances by the Vancouver Fire and Police Departments.
LaSalle College Vancouver and the LCI Education Foundation were proud to support the impactful initiative organized by CityReach Care Society, as it aligns with their commitment to the United Nations' goal of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. TheLCI Education Foundation’s primary mission is to advance school perseverance, access to education, and children’s literacy, particularly in countries where the network operates.
A special thank you goes to the LaSalle College Vancouver volunteers who dedicated their time to prepare and serve food, hand out freezies, and ensure everyone left with a smile, as well as to the LCI Education Foundation for their generous donation of 1,000 backpacks.
